Darcy's Cakes @
Tai Otoshi Coffee Shop
Tai Otoshi Coffee continues to offer cakes and cookies each week to help raise funds for the Club. These are now baked by Club member Darcy Armstrong. Please do bring along change each week to sample the bakes - along with fresh tea and coffee.
On Friday 3rd October the Seniors welcomed Sam Dunkey from the British Judo Association to take a Masterclass at Headcorn. He delivered some expert technical instruction on both ground and standing techniques, with a bit of Animal Movement Fitness thrown into the mix! We very much hope Sam will be able to visit again soon.
Many congratulations to Fraser Armstrong who has now qualified as a Level 1 coach. Fraser has been assisting Sensei for some time and has just completed his qualification meaning he can teach and grade some members. "This is great news for the Club and great news for Fraser", says Club Coach Richard. "He is only 19 and it goes to show what can be achieved at a young age."
